David Beck was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but raised in the small town of Arley — where dirt roads and late-night jam sessions shaped the gift and rhythm behind his work. A former brick mason turned structural welder turned self-taught tech junkie, Beck now works as the Life Safety Technician at Brookwood Hospital by day, and builds software, stories and songs by night.

He is a musician at heart, with a guitar in one hand and drumsticks in the other–blending melody and mayhem into everything he creates. Whether it’s a haunting novel, a clever line of code or an amazing guitar riff, Beck brings the same passion to the table.

Silent Bones, born from a dream that refused to stay quiet, is just one chapter in a story that’s still being written. Beck currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama (for now), always chasing the next big project—and turning every scar into art.
